How Does It Work?
1. Reception and Assessment:
At the heart of REFRAMED lies a commitment to recovery.
We receive the frames and conduct a detailed preliminary assessment. Each piece is examined to determine its structural condition and whether it can be restored.
2. Disassembly and Repair:
Approved frames are sent for disassembly. At this stage, any structural damage is addressed, and parts are replaced as needed. Consumables, such as pads, screws, and tips, are replaced with new ones from our inventory, ensuring quality and durability.
3. Sterilization and Preparation:
Once repaired, each component undergoes a sterilization process. This step ensures hygiene and prepares the glasses for the next phase of their life cycle.
Once the three phases are complete, the refurbished glasses are sent to our REFRAMED department.
Through the REFRAMED project, we are taking a proactive approach to sustainability. By offering quality eyewear at prices significantly lower than those of new frames, we encourage sustainable choices. Every pair that is rescued or purchased represents a reduction in waste, promoting a vision for a greener and more sustainable future.
