Optocentro vs. Johnson's Academy

An eye health initiative with a real impact on the community

On April 10, 11, and 14, and May 13, a corporate social responsibility initiative was held in the Zambujal neighborhood, targeting children and young people from the Johnson Academy, with the goal of promoting access to eye care and improving quality of life through better vision.

The initiative was organized by Optocentro, with key support from OneSight EssilorLuxottica and AASO—the Association for the Support of Sustainability in the Optometry Sector—which shared the donation of frames and lenses it received from CPO—the Private Ophthalmology Clinic.

 Results of the initiative:

  • 165 visual inspections conducted
  • 88 cases of refractive errors identified
  • 95 pairs of glasses were distributed free of charge

Johnson's Academy really moved us.

We would like to thank everyone involved in this important initiative.
