Optocentro attended the 1st conference of AASO (Association for the Support of Sustainability in the Optics Industry), in collaboration with CADIn (Neurodevelopment and Inclusion) and GRACE (Sustainable Businesses), on November 9, 2023
The “Employment Without Distinctions” event took place at Nova SBE in Carcavelos and focused on two key themes:
a) Inclusion of Neuroatypical Individuals in the Labor Market
b) Identification, Assessment & Employability, and Social Significance
The goal was to raise awareness within the optical industry about the importance of integrating neurodivergent young people into the workforce, and the following was presented: 360° Testimonial from the Elias Neto Case at Optocentro.
This gift is for Elias Neto, Dr. Sandra Pinho, the psychologist who oversaw Elias’s recruitment process at Optocentro, Rui Motty, CEO of Optocentro, Anabela Rolo, a representative of Elias’s coworkers at Optocentro, Ms. Inês Fortunato, the young man’s mother, and Ms. Lara Deus, a client of Optocentro.
