The“Employment Without Discrimination”Conference, an initiative organized by AASO—the Association for the Support of Sustainability in the Optics Industry—in collaboration with CADIn—Neurodevelopment and Inclusion—and GRACE—Sustainable Businesses.
About the Conference:
The purpose of this conference is to raise awareness within the optical industry about the importance of integrating neurodivergent young people into the workforce. To illustrate the impact of this inclusion, we will highlight the success story of Elias Neto at Optocentro.
The 360° Testimony, which will be one of the highlights of the event, will feature Elias himself, Dr. Sandra Pinho, the psychologist who accompanied the process, Mr. Rui Motty, CEO of Optocentro, Ms. Anabela Rolo, a representative of Elias’s coworkers, Ms. Inês Fortunato, the young man’s mother, and Lara Deus, a client of Optocentro.
During the conference, experts and industry professionals will come together to discuss strategies and best practices, with a focus on promoting neurodiversity in the workplace.
