The Optocentro Experience

The pleasure I get from going to work every day stems largely from the fact that I am an integral part of a brand known for its quality and prestige—one thatis unique in the optical industry in Portugal: Optocentro.

At a time when the optical retail sector is expanding at an unprecedented rate, particularly in major cities—with a heavy concentration of stores affiliated with large corporate groups, many of which are franchises—I am proud to be part of a strong and well-established brand in a competitive market that is often unfair and ungrateful.
Optocentro is not a project; it is a present reality, constantly adapting and always attentive to the ecosystem around it.

Thanks to the vision, dedication, and commitment of its management team—who constantly strive to maintain a family-like atmosphere—Optocentro consistently seeks to build close relationships with its customers, who are the
primary focus of its attention and the most important reason why the entire team works. Their complete satisfaction is the driving force behind the performance of its employees.
I enjoy being part of one of the main pillars of this company—a cog in the machine that works behind the scenes, doing the unseen but no less important work.
Being part of Optocentro means being part of a brand and a company that has been serving all customers without discrimination for over 30 years—a company that does not judge by race or color and treats the rich and the poor equally, because providing optical services is not just about fashion and beauty, but also about essential healthcare.
More than just an optician’s, it’s a place where friends and potential friends meet—those who are already our customers and those who might consider becoming one.
Because of the values it instills in me, the responsibility inherent in the role I play, and the pleasure of providing excellent service, being part of Optocentro has made me a better man.
Since it’s the holiday season, I’d like to wish all Optocentro customers and friends a Happy New Year, filled with good health and, if possible, even better than the one that’s coming to a close.
